Our History

The Faculty of Science and Technology (FOST) was established in 1994 under the Purbanchal University Act, 2050 (1994)”. In 1996, it started three years Bachelor of Computer Application (B.C.A.) program in Biratnagar which was the pioneer program of Nepal but currently FOST has offered four years Bachelor Programs in IT, Engineering and two years Master Program based on credit hours and semester system.  FOST is going to provide master programs in Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Agriculture and veterinary in future.
